Ski Instructor Level 1 Course

 

Level 1 Ski Instructor Course- Switzerland

Our Level 1 ski instructor courses cover technical and teaching skills and will qualify students to teach people up to basic parallel skiing.

● The course will be taught and assessed (on a continual assessment basis) by SnowPros Director of Snowsports Max Colvin and the governing body for the qualification would be the PSIE (Professional Ski Instructors of Europe), which is equivalent to BASI Level 1

● Successful candidates will receive a certificate of their achievement, pin badge and membership of the PSIE

The course is open to everyone from 15 years old (for those who are 15, the qualification only comes through to them at 16).

 

Course Details

The course is four days and will be spread out over 4 separate Saturdays. There will be an online module to complete in your own time before the on-snow element of the course starts.

  • Saturday 15 March

The course will take place in Les Crosets, Switzerland.

The snow days of technical and teaching training will be from 0900-1600, with a break for lunch.

The cost of the course will be 599frs per person.

You will need to cover your own transport to and from Les Crosets, ski pass and money for lunches/snacks/drinks etc. Ski Passes are not included (you will need a Portes du Soleil ski pass for each day of the course. It is strongly recommended that you have your own personal skiing insurance that covers you in the event of an accident or injury whilst on the course.
